I'm sure that I've missed someone from the list of blogs on Word Count Buddies and I know I haven't sent everyone their username and password. That's because I don't have your email addresses. If you make an entry in the Guest Book I'll be able to pick up your email without the rest of the word seeing it.

Liz, I have a suggestion. I would like to be able to choose the date for which I'm entering the word count. Sometimes I may not finish until after midnight (against the rules, I know, but sometimes it's the best I can do), and sometimes I may finish early enough but not be able to post until after midnight. Also, this would enable Theadra to enter each day's count of her camping trip individually after the fact.
I'd like for you all to be able to do that too, and I'm working on it. I'm trying to make it as simple as possisble to update the site (and for me to administer it), while at the same time keeping us all honest. Not that ANYONE would fudge their numbers, right?
I'll probably have it fixed by next week. I'd like you to have the option of entering the date if it's for the previous day/s or if it's for today just leave the date field empty. That's a new challenge for me, and one that I'd like to tackle. And I've just noticed that the times are being displayed in the 12 hour clock. I need to either add am/pm to the time or change it to the 24 hour clock.
Keep the suggestions coming.
I also noticed last night when I posted my words at 10:48pm on the 25th, the time came out as 12:48am on the 26th. Can you account for time zone differences, too? >:) Cause I guarantee I'll seldom be posting my words before 10pm. In fact, it's midnight now, and I just got home a few minutes ago, and I'm going to write my words right now...
I understand. I'll try to add the system timezone to each posting, I think that's the best I'll be able to do for now. That's why I said originally we should use midnight Pacific as our deadline time.
I need to put an Issues Log on the site so people can report things like this on there. Then everyone can see what's being disucssed and I can update it to show when/if the issue is fixed.
Cool. No pressure. The stuff you've managed to throw together so far is really great. No way I'd be able to do that!
