Update on Website
The website is coming along nicely. I hope to password-protect updating the word count, and have a drop-down box with our names in it by tomorrow evening. The Guest Book is working, Join Us still needs some work but it will send emails. I want to have it do that automagically, right now it just opens the email acount on your PC. I haven't added the About Us page yet. And of course the biggie -- I still need to get the word counts displayed on the Home page. Hopefully I'll get it all done tomorrow. Check it out here

This is cool! Another friend of mine has joined in over at riotimus.blogspot.com. Do you have some kind of limit in mind on how many people you want on the website? I wouldn't want you to feel too burdened.

Daeruin -- I'll add riotimus to the list. I think there will have to be a limit on the number of people who join too, but right now I don't have any idea of how many will be too many.

Check it out now. The word counts are displaying on the Home page. Apart from Ing's name and words, the rest are just test data. The table will display your updated counts from the day before and today if I've coded it right. (big IF, we'll see how it looks in a day or two).I'll clean it up before "go-live" which I think will be this evening at around 6.00 p.m. Eastern. From then on anyone wanting to join will need to send an email from the Join us form.
I'll keep adding and improving to the site. Just let me know what you'd like to see on there. I still have to put up "the rules" and the Wall of Shame doesn't go anywhere yet. That might take a day or two, but we don't need it (do we???) just yet. I'm thinking about having a "Weak Excuses" page too, for those of us who fail to do our words. What do y'all think?
